Cross-Exchange Account
Each wallet has one Cross-Exchange account. It holds your Cross-Exchange balance and positions, and is separate from your wallet and your pool positions.
Setting Up
Select Enable Cross-Exchange (or Enable 1CT to trade) on any Cross-Exchange market. Setup takes one signature and one transaction:
- Signature — sign the message titled LeverUp Cross-Exchange Account. It derives your Cross-Exchange account; the same wallet always derives the same account.
- Transaction — one Monad transaction enables One-Click Trading and registers the account with LeverUp, so that withdrawals can be returned to your wallet. Network gas applies. The transaction is skipped if both are already in place.
Cross-Exchange and One-Click Trading share this setup. Enabling one enables the other.
The account is created on the venue with its first deposit. Until then, the trade button reads Deposit to trade. Setup completes automatically once funds arrive; no further signature is required.
The signed key controls your funds
The key derived from this signature can trade and withdraw from your Cross-Exchange account. It is stored encrypted in this browser. Only sign the message on leverup.xyz.
Smart-account wallets keep 10 MON
EIP-7702 delegated wallets must keep at least 10 MON. Setup or orders that would leave less are blocked with Low MON reserve; add MON first.
Device Authorization
Each device trades with its own authorization.
- Authorization is valid for 180 days. Renewal is offered in the last 14 days.
- Authorization is renewed automatically when it is missing or expired and this device holds the account key.
- Accounts with low trading volume can authorize up to three devices. Authorizing a new device can sign out the oldest one.
- Authorization is removed by the venue when the account balance reaches zero, and renewed on the next deposit.
Turning Off One-Click Trading
Turning off One-Click Trading also revokes Cross-Exchange trading on every device and deletes the keys stored in this browser. Close all Cross-Exchange positions and orders first; it is refused while any are open.
Your balance stays in the account. Enable One-Click Trading again to trade or withdraw it.
Account States
The trade button shows what the account needs before an order can be placed.
| Button | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Enable Cross-Exchange | No account yet | Sign once and confirm one transaction |
| Enable 1CT to trade | One-Click Trading is not enabled | Sign once and confirm one transaction |
| Deposit to trade | The account has not received its first deposit, or both the account and your wallet are empty | Deposit USDC or a supported token |
| Authorize this device | This device is not authorized | Sign once |
| Re-enable Cross-Exchange | This device's authorization expired | Sign once |
| Restore account | The account exists, but this browser has no key for it — for example, a new device or cleared browser data | Sign once; balance and positions are unchanged |
| Re-approve fees | The fee approval has lapsed and orders are rejected | Sign once |
| Register this account | The account is not registered, so withdrawals cannot be quoted | Sign once; balance and positions are unchanged |
| Account locked | This device holds a key for a different account than the one on record | Contact support on Discord. No funds are lost. |
When One-Click Trading is offered but not enabled, Enable 1CT to trade replaces Enable Cross-Exchange, Authorize this device and Restore account.
