LVMON Redemption
LVMON Redemption allows users to convert LVMON back into MON assets. LeverUp provides two redemption options: Fast Redeem and Standard Redeem.
Fast Redeem
Fast Redeem is designed for users who want to exit quickly.
When a user redeems LVMON through Fast Redeem, the system uses the immediately available reserve pool to complete the redemption in the same transaction, as long as there is enough liquidity.
Fast Redeem is best for:
- Users who want immediate redemption
- Smaller or time-sensitive exits
- Situations where fast pool liquidity is available
Fast Redeem may charge a higher fee because it uses instant liquidity.
Standard Redeem
Standard Redeem is designed for users who do not need immediate liquidity.
Part of the MON backing LVMON may be delegated to Monad validators. Because staked MON cannot always be withdrawn instantly, Standard Redeem creates a redemption request first. After the required epoch period has passed, the user can claim the redeemed MON.
Standard Redeem is best for:
- Users who can wait for redemption
- Larger redemptions
- Situations where Fast Redeem liquidity is limited
Standard Redeem usually provides access to deeper backing liquidity, but it requires a waiting period.
